ALTOONA, Pa. — The Penn State Altoona Police Department was one of eight local departments honored this month for its outstanding efforts to increase road safety for all motorists.
The recognition comes from AAA East Central and is based on educational programs and promotional campaigns that encourage the development of safe driving habits.
Penn State Altoona received a silver award.
